Overview #
Google reCAPTCHA helps protect your restaurant’s website from spam, bots, and unauthorized login attempts. You can easily enable, disable, or configure reCAPTCHA directly from your myRestro Admin Dashboard. This ensures your system stays secure while keeping login access smooth for genuine users.
Step 1: Access 3rd Party Settings #
Log in to your myRestro Admin Dashboard.
From the left navigation bar, scroll down and click on System Settings → 3rd Party & Configuration.
Then select 3rd Party.
Step 2: Open reCAPTCHA Settings #
Inside the 3rd Party section, you will see several configuration options, including:
– SMS Module
– Fax Module
– Mail Config
– Mail Campaign Config
– Map APIs
– Social Logins
– reCAPTCHA
Click on reCAPTCHA located on the right side.
Step 3: Enable or Disable reCAPTCHA #
To activate or deactivate reCAPTCHA:
– Click the Toggle button on the right under the Status.
– Turning it ON enables reCAPTCHA on your website login page.
– Turning it OFF disables the feature.
Step 4: Get Your Google reCAPTCHA Keys #
To set up reCAPTCHA keys:
1. Go to the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console.
2. In the Label and Domain fields, enter your restaurant website name or domain.
3. Select Challenge (v2) as your reCAPTCHA type.
4. Click Submit.
Google will now generate two keys for you:
– Site Key
– Secret Key
Step 5: Add Keys to myRestro #
Return to your myRestro Admin Dashboard:
1. Copy the Site Key from Google and paste it into the Site Key field in myRestro.
2. Copy the Secret Key and paste it into the Secret Key field.
3. Click Save on the right to store your configuration.
Step 6: Verify reCAPTCHA Activation #
Once saved:
– Log out of your restaurant admin panel.
– Go to the login page again.
– You will now see Google reCAPTCHA enabled.
This confirms your setup is successful.

Using reCAPTCHA significantly improves your website’s security by preventing bot attacks. Always keep your reCAPTCHA keys private and avoid sharing them with unauthorized users.
