Add SEO Metadata and Page Titles on myRestro #
Overview #
Optimizing your website’s SEO is essential for improving visibility, boosting search rankings, and bringing more customers to your restaurant. The SEO Details section in your myRestro Admin Dashboard allows you to update meta titles, descriptions, tags, and page-level SEO images to enhance your website’s overall performance.
Step 1: Access SEO Settings #
Log in to your myRestro Admin Dashboard.
From the left-hand sidebar, go to Promotions Management → SEO Details.
Step 2: View SEO Fields #
Inside the SEO Details section, you will see:
– A list of your website pages (Homepage, Categories, and more)
– Empty fields for SEO optimization
– Image upload options for each individual page
At the top, you will find the global website SEO fields:
– Meta Title
– Meta Description
– Meta Tags
These apply to your website’s main-level SEO performance.
Step 3: Add Global SEO Metadata #
Fill in the global SEO fields as follows:
Meta Title #
– Must be under 65 characters
– Include highly searched keywords relevant to your restaurant and location
Meta Description #
– Maximum 160 characters
– Use commas and include important search-friendly phrases
Meta Tags #
– Add 5–8 high-volume SEO keywords
– Separate them appropriately to boost ranking
After entering all fields, click Submit on the right to save your global SEO metadata.
Step 4: Add Page-Level SEO Details #
For individual pages such as:
– Homepage
– Category Pages
– Gallery
– About Us and more
Follow the same steps:
1. Enter the page-specific Meta Title
2. Enter the Meta Description
3. Add Meta Tags
4. On the right-hand side, upload an appropriate SEO image if available
5. Click Submit for each page
Important:You must save each section individually, as the system does not allow saving all SEO fields at once.
Step 5: Continue Through All Pages #
Proceed through every page listed, updating:
– Metadata
– Tags
– Page Title
– Image uploads
Continue this process until you reach the final Tracking page section.
Step 6: Completion #
Once all fields are submitted across all pages, your website’s SEO metadata will be fully updated and optimized for improved search performance.
Pro Tip #
Use city-specific and cuisine-related keywords to increase your chances of ranking in local search results. Regularly update SEO fields when adding new categories or pages.
